Sophomore or junior undergraduate students are welcome to apply

According to the National Science and Technology Council's guidelines for subsidizing undergraduate research projects, eligible students should have obtained a commitment from a supervising professor, have excellent academic performance, and be enrolled in the second year or above at public or private universities/colleges, excluding master's and doctoral students. The annual project application deadline is around mid-February of that year (please see the National Science and Technology Council website for details; the project page limit is 10 pages), and the application results will be announced in June. If approved, the project can be carried out from July 1st of that year to the end of February of the following year, for a total of eight months. Students can receive a research scholarship of 6,000 TWD per month, and each professor can supervise up to two students per academic year.
